after 2 months of feverishly looking for a career move...i finally landed a job as a freelancer in the visual dept for JCPenney Headquarters in Plano Tx. I will be designing interior signage for JCPenney's stores across america... The Pros' definitely outweigh the cons here, so i think i'll be staying for a while...its weird though...some freelancer have been there for over 10 yrs so something must me right...the cafe is awesome, its 10 minutes from home, the people are cool and i have a lot of freedom....i just cant get to crazy with my designs...thats what im missing...but hey, you cant win em all. Im very thankful to even have a job like this. Maybe after 3 years i can get a job at an ad agency or design studio where i can finally have creative freedom....
